DAVID, Owner / Stylist
Twelve years ago David moved to Calgary from his Australian homeland where he owned two award-winning salons. Internationally trained, David has had the pleasure of collecting innovative styling techniques in Australia, the US and Canada. David enjoys testing his Redken colour expertise and can correct any unfortunate colour mistakes that show up in his chair. He opened Karma three years ago, determined to make it a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
David invites you cordially and with a charming Australian accent, to make an appointment to spend some time relaxing at Karma Salon and Spa.

DENISE, Stylist
Denise, a practicing member of the industry for over 27 years is proud of her extensive training with the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Rusk International and Bumble and bumble. Other training includes her attendance at the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas.  Denise’s commitment to constant practical and product upgrading as well as experience as a former instructor at Marvel College helps her provide the latest looks for her guests. Denise is friendly and pays close attention to what her guests need.

TAMI, Stylist
Tami’s creativity was all the inspiration she needed to pursue the art of hairstyling. She considers colour work and cutting a means of expressing her creative vision, and feels very fortunate to have found a career she loves as well as one that provides so many travel opportunities. She has attended colour and cutting classes in New York and Toronto. Tami’s travels have given her new perspectives on culture, styles and trends, giving her an edge when it comes to providing for her guests.

DONNA, Stylist
With 30 years of experience, Donna is extensively educated with Sassoon, Trevor Sorbie and Suki. She has been an educator for Redken, and owned her own salon in Vancouver. Her prowess with all things aesthetic has found her organizing fashion shows for the likes of Holt Renfrew and Leone’s. Personable and authentic, Donna promises current and relevant styles to her guests. She doesn’t usually brag, but is a proud recipient of the ‘Best Mom’ button.

MARY, Stylist
Twenty years of passionate experience and dedication in the industry has given Mary the opportunity to witness its constant evolution of style and emergence of trends. Learning new and different techniques for cutting, coloring and styling hair in New York as a Network Educator for Bumble and bumble, Mary loves to bring back with her skill and inspiration for others. Helping her guests look and feel their very best is Mary’s number one priority.

KEISHA, Stylist
To enhance her already extensive experience, Keisha routinely attends advanced training classes, insuring Karma stays ahead of the latest trends in cut and style. A versatile stylist, Keisha  excels equally with all hair types, be it long, short, curly or straight. She creatively uses a combination of scissor-work, blow-drying and flat ironing. Through her experience as a stylist and education, Keisha has captured the art of several hair extension techniques. Her attention to detail and the ability to describe color and length assures each client that they are in good hands.
